1. Overview

Booth Bingo ("we", "our", or "the Service") respects your privacy. This policy describes how we collect, use, and share information when you use our event engagement platform. It should be read together with our Terms of Service, including our reservation to share or commercialize information as described below.

2. Information We Collect

We collect information you provide: name, email, phone, and ZIP code when you register or complete your profile. When you scan vendor booths, we record your scan activity and responses to qualifying questions.

We also record whether you confirmed you meet the minimum age requirement to create an account (at least 13; if under 18, parent/guardian permission is required).

We also collect technical data such as device information for push notifications and hashed IP/user-agent for fraud prevention.

3. How We Share Your Information

Our practices beyond booth-level opt-in. Subject to applicable law, we may share, disclose, license, sell, or otherwise make available your information—including personal information—with event vendors, exhibitors, event organizers, and Booth Bingo partners (such as service providers, sponsors, affiliates, and other commercial partners). This may happen in addition to, or independently of, any opt-in you provide at a specific booth or in the app, and may include data that identifies you or aggregated or de-identified data. See the Terms of Service for the same reservation in contract form.

Vendors (booth qualifying flow): When you scan a booth, your contact information (name, email, phone, ZIP) is shared with that vendor through our Service only when you explicitly opt in via the qualifying questions. If you do not opt in for that scan, that vendor typically sees that you scanned but not your name, email, phone, or ZIP—unless we share information with them under the practices described in the preceding paragraph.

If you opt in to share contact information, you consent to receive communications from that vendor (including but not limited to emails, phone calls, and texts). If you are under 18, your parent/guardian must consent.

Instant rewards (booth-level prizes): Vendors receive only the prize and redemption code—no contact details. Prize winners (secondary and grand prizes): Sponsor vendors receive winner contact information to fulfill prizes.

Event organizers have access to aggregate engagement data and, for events they run, individual scan and response data for their events.

4. Email & Notifications

We send giveaway-related emails (winner notifications, results). You can unsubscribe at any time via the link in those emails. Event organizers may also send you exit surveys and other event communications.

5. Your Rights

• Unsubscribe: Use the link in our emails to opt out of giveaway notifications
• Account deletion: You may request account deletion in the app; we will anonymize your data
• Booth-level opt-in: You choose whether to share contact info with an individual vendor via qualifying questions after a scan; broader sharing or sale may still occur as described in Section 3 and the Terms of Service

6. Data Retention

We retain your data for as long as your account is active and as needed to provide the Service. Upon account deletion, we anonymize personal data and retain de-identified activity for analytics and event records.

7. Security

We use industry-standard measures to protect your data. Payment processing is handled by Stripe; we do not store card numbers.

8. Changes

We may update this policy. We will post changes on this page and update the "Last updated" date. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
